Confirmed an 8mm (Double-8) Bolex, C8/B8-series, NOT a 16mm H-series. Identified from the front ASA exposure dial, the shallow Double-8 film chamber with twin spindles, and the three small 8mm turret Kern-Paillard lenses. Spring-wound; body s/n 846176 (Paillard used one serial range across models, consistent with the late-50s/early-60s). Patent plate (Ned. Octrooi / Gr. Brit. / U.S.A. Pat.) carries no model name.

Private reference notes

Usable today. Yes, but niche, Double-8 film is costly and needs lab processing. Motor must run.

Indicative value (private). £40 to £150

Condition. 8mm cine film is costly and needs lab processing. The 3-lens turret + original fitted case help; spring motor should wind & run.

To check. Optional: confirm the spring motor winds and runs at a steady speed, and check the three lenses for haze/fungus.
